      This is exactly what I had been looking for. A nice antique looking bedspread. It has a light suddle design that It is not so overpowering as most bedspreads you find today. It compliments my antique furniture very well without taken away from it character. The edge fringe really stands out, witch I enjoy. As for texture, it feels like a true antique witch surprised me. It is very functional and is on a bed that does get used daily. Because it is winter I placed it over my existing white comforter. Now I have style and comfort. This bedspread will work just fine by itself in the summer months. As for durability I think it will be lasting for quite sometime. It appears to be well constructed. I am a bargin shopper and always looking for a deal, this was definitely one of my better buys. So Yes I would buy again. I did purchase the matching pillow shams and think it completes the antique look I was going for.

            This bedspread is EXACTLY what I have been looking for for years! My antique bedspreads are just like this, but were too old for daily use, and this is a perfect replacement: not so restrained as a Marseilles bedspread, but not so casual as chenille. The weight is perfect for the warmth of Louisiana's climate, and the texture only improves with washing. I couldn't be more pleased.
