I planed on wearing it this fall, maybe into winter. It runs a little small. I usually wear a large but bought 1x hoping to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it but it's too tight around the upper body and the length is too long, hood is too deep and extends out several inches from the face.

Since I am only 4'11", most of the pants and coats I buy are too long. Being short, busty and plus size, it's hard to find a good fit. When I have to buy something like this product that is too long for me, I look 'frumpy' and I don't like that look. But, if I want to be warm, I have to wear it. And, I do not like the cold. I've always been a lover of products made out of down material. Looking foward to wearing it come winter.

Loved the Red color, but also ordered the Patterned Blue. The patterns did not match up along the side seam and it was returned. This vest is lightweight and looks great w/jeans for outside cold fall activities. Love the solid color and snaps in the front.

Huge hood with lots of pretty fur-- perfect for walking in blizzards here in WNY. Aqua color is beautiful and vest with sweater underneath will allow me to freely move my arms as I walk. No feathers seen yet altho others reported. Great buy-love my first winter vest!

I really like this vest. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is that it seems a little small and the snaps were really hard to unsnap. I was afraid I would rip the fabric. I will not be using the snaps. I wanted a vest to wear walking when the weather is cool, but not cold, and this will fit the bill perfectly.

It is shown with sleeves. I thought it had a lining sweater. It has "NONE". The arm holes are larger then normal; so the shoulders are exposed. I will have to buy something to wear under this with sleeves.

I ordered the Classic Red in one size larger than I usually wear (thinking it would be more comfortable over sweaters). It is too small for me. In the same order I also ordered a coat by the same manufacturer in my regular size and it fits fine, so this vest runs small or mine was mislabeled. The Red is BRIGHT, red and not as muted as on my computer.

What a steal! I am so glad I bought this! I love the color (capri blue) and the fur around the hood makes it so trendy! Even my teenage daughters love it! The thing that sold me on it was that it doesn't have arms...I love to drive, but hate bulkiness - this will be perfect! The weather is too warm now but I purchased this to wear when I move north. It'll be perfect when the weather begins to cool off in Montana. I did wash and dry it and it came out beautifully. The length and the color are GREAT!! This would still be great in Arizona in the winter months.

I am very tall, so I was thrilled that I finally found one of these in a longer length.... but not so thrilled after I received it. The hood is way too big and falls over my face, but the main problem is the shedding. No matter what I do, I'm covered in feathers and fluff!!!!!! The lining REALLY needed to be "feather-proof".

This vest ran small through the bust area, so I had to return it for a larger size. This one fits perfect, although the arm holes are a bit too open, but a bulky sweater underneath resolves this slight problem. I like to wear it running errands when a full coat would be too bulky and warm.

This vest is very comfortable even though it appears to be bulky. The armhole opening would be better if it were a bit smaller. Too much wind can enter into the chest area, so a heavy sweater worn under the vest is the answer to this minor problem.

The merchandise picture is somewhat misleading as it alludes to the inclusion of some type of sweater-like sleeves and collar which are not included. Suggest that future marketing photos not include this feature, merely the picture of the vest and hood. Otherwise, the vest was a pleasant surprise. It is of high quality polyester, soft, and very good looking on.

While having a hood on a sleeveless garment seems superfluous, the warmth of the vest is the primary reason I bought it, so I was delighted that the hood is so easily detachable. The cheery light blue color brightens my mood, and the insulation it provides is wonderful. It IS too long, and this detracts from its overall fashion appeal, but the warmth overrides that, so I'm quite content with it! My torso feels cold all winter, and this solves that discomfort wonderfully!

The inside of the pockets were so poorly sewn and skimpy that the seam opened up the first time I wore the vest. Now everything I put in the pocket falls to the bottom of the lining and I have to dig to retrieve whatever it is. Very annoying!

I was excited to order this vest as it seemed to be a good buy for the price. However, you get what you pay for. It was poorly made and the sizing seemed too small in my opinion. I am a size 20 and ordered a 22/24 so that it would be big; but it was small and particularly was small in the midriff area. The best thing about the vest is it's hood; it is very pretty .

The only complaint that I have is that when I take it off, it leaves feathers all over my clothing underneath. I don't see any holes where the feather down is obviously coming out of the vest. The pockets seem to be set a little too far back and doesn't allow a natural position of your arms when you have your hands in the pockets. If the pockets were positioned more towards the front of the vest, I would like it even better, but it's do-able the way it is right now. It also feels a little big, but that doesn't really bother me. Other than that, I really do like it. I would just tell friends the few things I felt needed improvement and let them decide for themselves.

The vest runs extremely small. All Main Street Blues run small. I could wear a large or X-Large and had to go up to a 2X and it is still a little snug. The hood is too large and
doesnt' stay up.
The color was great and I just took the hood off.
Glad it was on sale and I had coupons or it would have gone back but I love the vests for driving and I drive a lot.

I drive a school bus and needed for warmth and love it the only problem I had is that it ripped at the pocket in the first week and I had to sew it. But it is very comfortable and light weight and I like it. Do not use the hood.

I wear this vest whenever the weather permits. It is very comfortable and it is surprisingly warm despite the fact that it is on the thin side. I receive many compliments about its flattering fit and nice color. I love that the hood is detachable and that there is a snap closure under the chin to keep wind out of the top of the vest. My only real complaint is that the zipper catches on the fabric unless I am very careful. It is a nice metal zipper though, not a cheap plastic one! No inside pocket but the pockets on the outside are fairly roomy.

I love my Vest! After reading the previous reviews i was a little nervious on the fit. After receiving mine i tried it on and it fit just fine. The length of the vest is a tad bit longer than what i wanted but seeing as i am from the midwest extra length in the colder weather is fine. The only con that i have is with the hood. The hood itself is much larger than it needs to be for use, but if you are using it for style reasoning its fine. I love it and wish i could get it in a cream color. You must get it!

I own two of these. They are GREAT. I have several vests but these are the first with a hood and extra long length...it thoroughly covers the bumm! The cooler temps. are here and this hooded vest is really warm and comfortable. Yesterday I was traveling across Western Kansas and stopped for gas. The winds were gusting 40 to 50 mi. pr. hr., blowing dirt, tumbleweeds, sand and trash. I was grateful for the hood!! Provided great protection and warmth.

It is an overlay for the Hooded Thermal Jacket that I purchased. The only real problem is that the size is often not what ordered, i.e. a 3XL is actually a 2XL. Other than that a good product.

I would suggest you buy this in a size larger than your normal size. Small through hips and bust. Couldn't zip normal size :( Bought according to sizing to chart. Reordered in next size larger and am awaiting its arrival. I'm sure it will fit much better!

It is warm and comfy but a two way zipper would be nice. When you sit it bunches up because of the length, if it had a two way zipper it would help with this.

If you are big in the middle or hips or bust get one size bigger it runs small I usually wear a 1X in everything but in this it was to small a 2X fit perfect.

I enjoy wearing the vest instead of a bulky winter coat. Plus I don't have to worry about a hat, as it's already attached. It is very warm and does great in our Wisconsin winters. Love the deep pockets, and they hold a lot. Their isn't anything that I don't dislike about the vest. Am very please with it. My daughters are going to order one for them.

Love this item-the only things not on my favorite list about it would be that the metal used on the buttons has a bad metallic smell to it. It fits great but I was also hoping it would be just a bit shorter. All said though-I wouldn't send it back-it really does look nice and the coloring is very beautiful!

I really like the fact that it isn't bulky. It is light weight and comfortable. My only negative would be that at 5' 4", it's longer than what I like. I like the detachable hood. Very nice overall.

I liked it for the freness of my arms. I wear layors and this product is great for letting the arms have more movement. Our winters are damp and layoring works great hear at the Ocean. But too much bulk and cannot move. This jacket vest lets you have the freedom to move your arms and still be covered with the other layors. Just wish that your chart was more accurate on width they seem to be one size less than your other products in the same size fit.

I wore this out to eat and got several comments. The color was striking and the fur was lovely. There is enough room for a sweater and blouse underneath. I had been searching for a hooded vest like this for some time. Most were too short to be flattering on my body type or too bulky - I don't want to look like the Michelin Man! This is perfect. Slimming, comfortable, warm and very stylish. My sister got one too in a different color and we both love it! I ordered my regular size. I also ordered the Anorak jacket in the same size and it is a great fit. I am keeping this vest. I really like it. A size larger would be too big overall. But this is a little too tight through the bust and hips.

I live in North Idaho and we have several feet of snow on the ground and below zero tempuratures. I love the longer length and the fur around the hood, but the middle section is very slim. If you are a pear or apple shape, order at least one size up on this item.

I love it over the microfleece jacket for grocery shopping and my son's football games, but it is too long to be comfy done up and sitting, the hood is way too deep and akward when done up. I ordered the first vest in red size L. It was way too small so I gave it to my daughter as a Christmas gift. Because the size 1X in red was on backorder, I ordered the royal blue in 1X. A few days after ordering the royal blue in 1X, I received the red 1X. I love the red one! The blue one was too small in the bust plus lost feathers all over my clothing. I returned the royal blue for a refund.

This is great for wearing on a brisk day over a long sleeve sweater or sweatshirt were a coat would be too much. Or added warmth under a coat on a really cold day. The hood was a great fit and stayed up even without drawstrings.The pockets are adaquit for gloved hands but they wouldn't hold any items without falling out because of the design.

I'm glad I purchased this vest. It's cute, cozy and very trendy but not over the top. I like the longer length, it keeps my behind warm. Unfortunately, I found this item to run small. I always order a medium, which usual give me plenty of room to move. The vest fits me but a little snugger than I like. I don't think I'd be comfortable wearing a fleece jacket or a very thick sweater underneath it. I'd buy it again but purchase the next size up.

It's a nice weight and very warm. Only downside is that it's a little longer than most vests.

Wear with jeans and long sleeve t-shirts. The only problem is when you zip up the vest and then you unzip the vest, you have feathers all over your clothes. Very frustrating.

I have been looking for a longer, hooded vest in "my size" for the past 2 winters!! Thank you!! Thank you!! I love the color and I am thinking about buying more colors because they not only comfortable but are so reasonable!! If you live in Wisconsin or the midwest, invest in this vest. You will not regret it.

Even though my daughter has not recieved the vest yet she has tried it on and thinks it was someone elses. She really did not like the color. But it is the one that will go with her school uniforms. The vest is the right size, right lenght, but I did notice the armholes are a bit large. Other than that I would give it an A+.

Went a size larger than normal to allow for a shirt or sweater underneath but the hips were still too snug due to the length even with just a t-shirt on. I was concerned about breaking the zipper if I sat down. I am returning and getting the next size up.

This is very cute... I loved how it looked and the length was what I needed to keep my posterior warm in the cold Idaho winters. Unfortunately, it runs small. I bought my usual size and I could zip it, but there was no way that I could sit in it without breaking the zipper or busting a seam. Pity. I did send it back and ordered a size larger, but I'm not happy that I have to pay the extra shipping and handling. :(

This is a great vest. I wish the hood was smaller, when I pull it up to cover my head it covers pretty much my whole face. But It Is Very Comfy.

This vest is perfect for times when a full jacket is too much but something is needed. I love the zipper/button option. The pockets are a little shallow (easy to loose keys, etc). Even so, this purchase was just what I wanted.

Wore this once and loved it until I took it off at my destination. My dark sweater underneath was covered front & back with feathers. They were very difficult to remove. Unfortunately I'm returning the vest.

The long length is just what I wanted to 'conceal' ample hips. Basic black with faux fur hood looks rich. I love it!

A down vest is a great option for outdoor work or activities where you need freedom of movement for your arms. I've found the vest blocks even blustery winds quite well.
