There is one big problem with these peachskin dresses, they all seem to shred at the seams. Two previous ones of a different style but same material I ordered shedded at the seam going up the back. This particular one has shredded under the arms after the first wearing. This is not the seams coming apart, but shredding next to the stitching. However, I love the fit of these, so I just repair when necessary. My advise, if you don't want to pay for repairs or have no access to a sewing machine you might think twice about purchasing this dress.

This is a great item with many different kinds of uses for those who are into creative dressing. The dress can be worn alone, or with other shirts or jackets, with print scarfs, with jewelry, with belts, lots of possibilities. Likewise, the jacket can be used with various pants, dresses, and tops, to create many different kinds of outfits.
I shortened the dress beneath the splits and took that fabric and made a scarf. I needed a more professional look for the office. The dress and the new scarf with a business-suit jacket is a winner. For church, the scarf looks great tied around a hat with a brooch and with the dress and shirt gives a customized look.

I belong to the American Legion Auxiliary Eight and Forty. We work with children with respirtory diseases. We wear white or off white for our meetings. I ironed the outfit and found the collar ripped. Had to sew it. And it was not a true size 32. It was very tight around the waist. I am not very happy with the choice.

This dress is getting re-ordered in 5 more colors! I love the look, the feel, the comfort, the quality. It is perfect for work and I get compliments every time I wear it. The only problem I have experienced it you have to use a LOW temperature on your iron for touch-ups or you will harm the material. Otherwise, it is a perfect dress!

The jacket fit perfect but the dress does not have a zipper in it...it is just pull on and around the waist, hip area it was way to tight....the length was fine even tho I am short the length would work with sandals. I would suggest you order a size bigger if you are thick around the waist and hip area

The blue one did tear at the seam. Repairing it was a little difficult for me. Felt it was more cost efficient to purchase a new one than spend the money with a tailor.

I have four of these dress sets. I really do like how they fit, and how I look in them. However, the last one I purchased (purple) has a problem that I didn't encounter with the others. The seams frayed out on the first wearing. I tried three times with it...the service replacing them was fine. The last time, the dress waited until the fourth time to fray out. NONE of the others have frayed. Must be particular to the purple cloth. I have recommended this outfit to others. Just not the purple.

Although I didn't use the size chart, I ordered my normal size. I was shocked when I looked at the chart later and it told me to order 3 sizes larger than my normal dress size.

Though the colors were nice and the dress ran true to size, the fabric was so thin that it reminded me more of liner fabric (for a jacket or dress) than dress fabric. If you choose a lighter color, you may need to wear a slip under it. Even when I pulled it right out of the dryer, the dress had large creases in it and needed ironing. For the [$] purchase price, you'll get your money's worth. But I'm not sure I would wear it to work--which was my original plan.

Love this Jacket/dress. As an older woman, I appreciate being able to cover my upper arms in a flattering way. The fabric is wonderful. I have purchased other items described with this fabric, but they never really looked like silk. This one really looks and feels like a nubby/non-shiny silk. The fit is good for me...tall, busy, no waist or butt, but someone else may want to go up a size. The plain design is a canvas to many different looks depending on your accessories. It can also be broken up to make other outfits. Nice for travel.

Nice casual A-line dress with matching top that can be used with other outfits. Fabric wrinkles easily, so it is not travel friendly. Needed to take in side seams and make darts in the top so that the fit was more flattering. Adding a belt helped, too.

This time last year I ordered two suits, one black and one ivory. It fit everywhere but in the hips (I am pear shaped) but with a few adjustments, I had a most beautiful ivory suit to get married in this past Sept. Everyone just went on and on. Before the wedding I decided to order one for my Maid of Honor in sage green (my colors were green and gold). I had a beautiful at home wedding with flowers, cake, food, a beautiful dress, and gave the Maid of Honor her dress as a thank you gift. All of it added together was less than a $1,000.00 and people are still telling me what a lovely wedding it was and how nice I looked. I even mix and match the black and white to make a different outfit from time to time and I am going to have to order a couple more colors this fall, (maybe chocolate and sage green?). I sew and the dress was plenty long, so I was able to slightly redesign the dress by shortening it under the bust instead of at the hem. Now it fits (and looks) great.

The sleeves are a bit snug but the fabric hangs beautifully on the rest of the dress. I wasn't expecting a "pull over the head" dress but it works.

I ordered the size I normally wear and the first dress was to tight in hips and stomach. Returned dress & jacket and ordered one size larger. Now the dress fits the hits and stomach however: is to large in the bust and shoulders(which I was able to alter).

The fabric on this garment is prettier than the picture can show. I got the deep teal, and it is a very nice color with a little bit of a sheen. This makes the dress look dressier than the style alone shows. It is comfortable to wear - good for a long day at work. It could be accessorized to work well for a dressy occasion. I thought the size was exactly right.

Bought this for wedding coming up in July '09. Got it in larger size than normally wear and was surprised it was smaller than I expected, but still fits great. Normally wear 20W got 24W expecting to have it altered to fit perfectly. Fabric has a faux suede appearance with a very soft, light-weight draping effect. Chocolate is beautiful paired with turquoise jewelry.
