I ordered it and spring was here -- I thought, but we have had snow and blizzards. The day it arrived it was 80 degrees the next snowing. Anyway the test has not been consistent, but it is a keeper. I ordered red and like it. I also ordered a larger size because of the reveiws I read.

I agree with other reviewers, this zipper just doesn't function well and seems below the quality of the rest of the coat. I originally ordered a Medium but returned it for a Large. The shoulders seem tight and sleeve length short compared to the rest of the coat. I do like the inside pockets and have received compliments on the style and color (red). I wouldn't pay full price but on sale it was a fair deal.

I really liked the coat. I liked the chevrons in the front because they always give a slenderizing affect. I had probems with the zipper as soon as I put it on. I would have sent it back for a replacement of the coat, but didn't have all the information stuff to return it. I tried putting soap on the zipper to see if it would help, it didn't. Extremely hard to get on and off.........

Size was off. Coat is really nice, I love the way the sleeves are designed, with a cuff inside for warmth. Unfortunately, I chose a size by the chart and it is too small. This will have to go back.

We have some pretty cold and windy weather here in Ohio and just doing things like shoving the walk, walking the dog, getting the mail, can chill you to the bone. This coat provides great casual warmth for day to day wear. Little bulky but not nearly as much as other down coats I purchased. Sleeves are great - I have short arms and sleeves do not cover my hands like some.

This was a very frustrating purchase. normally 1x choices fit very nicely, Both 1X and 2X did not fit at the hips, chest or waist. It ran very small. Much too tight for comfort. Requested refund.

The size runs small and so does the length of the sleeves. I am 5'7" and the sleeves annoy me. The zipper always gets stuck on the surrounding material. I do like that it has the kind of zipper that can open from the bottom for when you are sitting. It IS warm and lightweight. I have gotten compliments on how I look in it. I bought it on sale and with a promo so I got it relatively inexpensively. If I had paid full price I might be upset :)

It was a very pretty coat but as indicated; I had to return it due to the fit. I have slightly longer than average arms and most things fit them pretty well, while most women complain that sleeves are too long for them, so this was unusual.

Color is much prettier than it appeared to be on-line or in the catalog. The coat is definitely what is in style this year. The fit is soft and comfortable. Could dress up or down, but I prefer to wear it with casual outfits. Also, it is very warm for our cold and snowy Ohio winter.

THANK GOD I read the other reviews. With that help, I ordered 2 sizes larger than usual and the fit is good - not too big. The sleeves are super short, which is a perfect fit for me (5'2"), but an average height person would have issue with that. The sleeves are also quite narrow, in spite of the larger size ordered. Zipper gets caught on surrounding fabric. Lots of threads hanging from seams. The style is cute and for the money it is a decent buy, so long as you know what you are in for. Be sure, if you order, to order larger than needed.

It is so difficult to find plus size winter wear that is stylish, and this does meet that bill. Just know that this will not be a jacket that will be worn for years to come...quality just isn't there.

I agree with others about shoulders being too small for the size ordered. I would also suggest at least one size up from normal. I can wear it with a tee shirt under it. For my climate, that's acceptable. A nice surprise was 2 inside pockets. In general, I'm very happy with it.

I really like this coat, and the color is good (I was worried the color wouldn't be true and be an ugly green). The only thing I DON'T like is the zipper. It's metal, and kind of cheap. I would run some bar soap up the zipper on both sides before I wore it the first time.
I like the style, and it is indeed flattering. I have had many compliments already.
It's very cozy, and I like the way it hugs your wrist underneath to keep out snow.

I was not excited about the fit of the coat. I am a plus size woman that is 5'8" NOT 4'8". I want the sleeve where it should be not at my forearms.I would recommend this to a friend but allow for size alteration for shorter sleeves. Thanks

I tried this on for my husband and he thought it was over the top great looking. He commented that it fit perfectly. Was surprised at the price when I told him it was down. I expecially love that it has a nylon lining. Makes it easy to get on over a fleece hoodie. The color is an unusual blue and extremely attractive. Hubby marveled at it twice.

I'm glad that I heeded other reviews and ordered the next larger size. I love that it's lightweight and really warm but the zipper doesn't seem to be very high quality. I have to be very careful not to catch the coat material everytime I zip it up or down. But it can be replaced. Overall, this was a good purchase.

Much warmer than I anticipated. Half the time I leave it unzipped so I don't roast! The fit is just a little on the small side, and the jacket pushes up when seated, especially in the car. The zipper is temperamental and won't zip or completely unzip if the bottom isn't perfectly lined up.

The jacket style/fit/color are all fine. The drawback is that the zipper goes too high and rubs my neck. This is not when it's CLOSED, but when it's OPEN...the zip edges scrape & I'm tempted to return it...The front zipper would be MUCH better if it ended a bit lower so as not to scrape the skin on my neck and cheeks. Also, the zips on the pockets scratch my hands when I put my hands in the pockets. The pockets would be better with no zippers. I'd recommend redesigning with smaller bore plastic zippers...

This is a decent looking, full-featured jacket, but unfortunately is very cheaply made. The arm holes are not designed well and the sleeves are not set in correctly, which makes for a very tight fit in that area and causes the sleeve to be slightly too short. Following advice from other purchasers, I order a full two sizes larger than I usually wear, and the jacket just fits (and, again, is tight in the arms). The fabric is cut too skimpy along the zipper, which causes it to align almost perfectly with the zipper teeth, which in turn causes the zipper to catch in the fabric all the time. An okay buy if you get it on a good sale, but absolutely not worth the regular price.

This coat is super warm. Fabric is tightly woven, so down stays put inside jacket. Wind flap is padded. I am very pleased. I ordered 1 size up for down fill and body fit is slimmer than I would expect for down filled construction. Two things I am less pleased with: the zipper tends to catch fabric and sleeves are cut rather slim for the size of the coat. I do wish it had a hood. Yesterday it was 1F, wind chill -20F and I was toasty warm. Good buy and I would purchase again.

Best coat I've had in a long time. I got it one size bigger, because of those who said to on-line. I am glad I did. I am long armed, tall and rotund. I have not washed it yet. I live in Michigan and it seems to snow for about 6 months here. I can safely say, standing and waiting for the bus, is alot warmer now. I just wish it had a hood. I am very happy with the fit, color, warmth and style. I am very disappointed with the quality of the zippers. I had to use paraffin to get the main zipper to close--the teeth don't match exactly. The outer fabric is lovely, but it is so thin and catches on everything so I now have pulls.

My husband bought this jacket for me [...]. As for the coat, I am busty petite and the length of the arms were perfect for me. The arms are a little snug though and I doubt I will be able to wear a bulky sweater with it. I had a problem with the fabric getting caught in the zipper but was able to work it free. I love the Red color and it's very warm without looking like a blimp or snowman in it like many other more bulky coats. The weather isn't too cold yet so will have to see how it does.

I believe that the size was not correct. It was too much too small. It was suppose to be a Large but I gave it to my granddaughter. She is a size 5. I believe it was mis-marked now I am very apprehensive about ordering a coat or jacket again from you.

Luckily I read reviews before I ordered this coat. Almost everyone said to order a size up because it ran small. I did and it fits great but not a ton of room to spare and the sleeves are just long enough. This coat is warm and cozy . It looks great with jeans and I would wear it with a skirt also. It will be one of my winter staples! I ordered black and it goes with almost everything.

The color is beautiful but the fit is pretty snug. I read the other reviews and bought one size up and that still isn't enough.It is tight in the arms and my arms aren't very large. It is tight across the tummy area, but I always have issues with that anyway. I have one on order now that is 3 sizes bigger than I normally wear. I haven't received it yet, but I so hope it works out. This coat is flattering and light-weight but warm despite that.

Well-designed with attention to details, such as ribbed inner-cuffs. There is a collar that can be turned up or down and a button for closure. The length is superb for a tall gal. And, yes, it is a slimming design that delivers.

Attractive jacket. The fill is light, but with a warm top makes a warm covering. It has been great in temps as low as 26 deg F. The fit is too snug in the front; the jacket runs small, not a true 5x fit. The jacket should run to a 6x. Workmanship is less than average, I see this jacket needing seam repairs soon. I already reinforced the side-body seams before wearing it. There were open spaces in the seams and the down was coming out. Due to time constraint, I did not return the jacket because I had to travel 2 days after receiving the jacket. I'd say, good for one season's wear then expect to make some minor repairs.

This is a great coat that is very flattering and warm without feeling at all bulky. The coat is working great in our current Alaskan weather of about 0 - 20 degrees. That being said - ORDER A COUPLE OF SIZES LARGER THAN yous usually would! I read the reviews before placing my order and they all mention that this coat runs small. I normally order size 1X (22W-22W)from this site, but I ordered size 3X (30W-32W) and it fits beautifully. Its a little long in the sleeve but is a great fit everywhere else. I can even wear a sweater under it if I want to. Bottom line; I am very pleased with the quality, weight and warmth, but if you order this coat, order it a lot larger than your normal size!

Very warm! The zipper is not disguised... so if I want to wear it out I'll have to wear a scarf with it. I'm planning on using it when I have to shovel; I think it'll keep me toasty. I had to re-order one size larger so I can comfortably layer with a sweater and thermals.

It runs small for the sizing guide. I ordered what should have run a little loose, to allow room for bulky winter sweaters and it barely fit... even when I got my next size up it was still snug, especially in the upper arms.

I normally buy a large but after reading other reviews about sizing, I decided to go ahead and get the 1X for the extra room. No way was this gonna work. I don't have huge arms either, but it was ridiculous how small the openings were cut. It made the jacket feel so snug at the top. I knew ordering another size up was not gonna work because then it would just be too big everywhere else. So with that said, unless you have little bitty pencil arms, I wouldn't bother on this one. Although it could just be a hit or miss with the manufacturing itself. Take your chances, I suppose.

i love this coat because it's warm and light. i can also wear a short-sleeved shirt underneath this coat and still be warm. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great winter coat!

This jacket is not true to size. It is too small. one cannot wear a sweater under it. I have ordered another in a larger size and hope that it fits better.

My normal 1X size was too small. Too tight in arms and wrist area. Reordered because I loved the jacket in a 2X and the bicept area was still slightly snug but rest of coat was slightly large but plan to wear vest under it when the weather gets cold and should be fine. Excellent quality and weight.

The fit on this jacket is very small. I wear a size 14 abnd it was way too tight. Couldn't even move my arms. Material wasn't very nice. Was disapointed in this jacket.

This is a nice light weight down jacket that I think will be perfect for the type of winters we have in Memphis. I look forward to wearing this jacket daily in the cold weather.Doesn't feel like I'm wearing a marshmallow!

I liked the color and the style of the jacket. I ordered a 2X because I planned to wear it with swearters, etc, but I found that it fits a little too snug across the chest and arms. If you are full breasted as I am,or if you plan to wear with bulky sweaters, order one size larger. I normally wear a 20-22W.

I normally take a medium in everything, except my coats and jackets, I like them a bit more roomy, therefore I always order my coats and jackets in large. But this jacket in a large is very small, I was not able to close the zip and the sleeves looked 3/4. It appears if the sizing was done wrong. I have to send it back and I am really disappointed. It's actually a beautiful jacket.

This was a great buy (with coupon) for a very warm down and feather-filled parka. It is very flattering, due to the diagonal stitching, which helps combat the "Michelin Man" look. My only complaint is that is is too snug. I wear a 30-32 or 3X in all the RedCats USA stores, and this parka in 3x felt very snug in the upper arms. I was able to zip it closed, but only while wearing relatively thin clothing (e.g., cotton turtleneck and stretch denim leggings). If you are planning on wearing this with a bulky winter sweater, buy one size larger.

I plan to use this coat every day in the winter. I stay in Illinois and we had cold winters. So this coat will keep me warm on those winter days and nights.
