I wear a size 12 and when your ads have size small I can wear them. The shirts are wonderful. No ironing after coming out of the dryer. They keep their shape and no shrinkage in length. The shirts look good with jeans or casual slacks.Plenty of room through the waist and hips. I have that "middle age spread" The shirts hide that nicely without looking like I am trying to compete with my granddaughters. I saw a movie with 3 women my age and they were dressed in jeans with big shirts. They looked great, and I give credit to Hollywood for their wisdom of helping out us older gals with this style. Large woman have little alternative for shirts. They are limited to what they can wear. This is a NICE casual OR dressy shirt. It is supposed to be worn out of the pant, jacket - like, but it is really nice by itself with jeans or stretch pants. This is the first time I have ever bought clothes on line. I was sceptical but to my surprise they are great. The wash great and I don't have to iron them. They are roomy enough not to restrain my movements, which is important to me.I like the baggy look since I am not a skinny beanpole of a woman and still look like a woman. The shirt I received was acceptable, but not the color pictured in the catalog and online. It's quite usable, however; so, I opted to keep it. The style is adaptable to more than one use. If I were to order another, however, I'd order a size smaller. It truly *is* a *big*shirt! The fabric seems a little thin; I'd not want to wear it without a tee, turtleneck, or camisole underneath, and the fabric is more prone to wrinkling than I'd like it to be.

I like the shirt. It is very comfortable and nice with jeans. I think it will wash and dry well if hung up right away. The white is fairly transparent so I wore something underneath. I ordered it separately to go under a cardigan but the cardigans are in a separate package that was stolen by my neighbors...nice huh! This is a classic big shirt, (hence the "fits too large" comment.) I have this is several colors. It is cotton-rich, yet very lightweight, so in the heat it is cool and breezy. In cooler weather, the stand collar allows me to wear a long sweater over it. Care is easy: it washes well in cold water and dries in the dryer on the permanent press setting in a heartbeat. Make certain you remove it quickly. I've never taken an iron to it. The facing around the buttons needs to be smoothed as you pull it from the dryer. I love this shirt!

I have not yet worn this shirt but I do wash any clothing before I wear them -- and this shirt tends to be really wrinkly when it comes out of the dryer. I normally iron all of my clothes so that's not a problem for me -- or maybe after a quick touch-up the next wash will not be quite so wrinkly. Other than that, the fabric feels nice against my skin and the color is beautiful. I wish I would have ordered another one in a different color while it was on sale.

This shirt needs more ironing than I like to do but its versatility makes up for it. I like to wear it over a tank on warm days, alone on cool days and over a turtleneck on cold days. It's the type of shirt which can be used year round. One thing though, the sleeves are not really long enough. Once in the drier and the sleeves will be too short.

Great addition to any wardrobe. I wish I could purchase one in every color. Might work even better with a touch of Lycra making it a "stretch" shirt. As the shirt is machine washed the lycra will help it maintain its shape and prevent the material from wearing thin...more mobility.

The sleeves feel slightly short - but they really aren't. The material feels slightly stiff, but that may be due to its newness. I have this shirt in five colors. I use it for casual wear with slacks. I wish it had a bit more room in the chest/arm area ... perhaps more pintucking at the shoulders. I am returning the white color because the material is paper thin and see through. The shirts that are striped with a white background are not as thin. I especially like the multi striped color.

When I first washed and dried this shirt it shrunk. I rewashed and put it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes and then let it line dry. The shirt seems to have regained most of its mass, but it doesn't fit as well as it fit when I initially tried it on.

I really like these shirts! They are comfortable and long enough to cover my tummy even when moving around, I like that. The fabric is a bit thin, so I am concerned about how they will hold up after numerous washings. And though they are thin, they are made with polyester, so they are a bit warmer than you'd expect. I have purchased several items from you now and I have noticed a tendency for the tops to be cut a little small. When I purchase the next size up the sleeves are too long and the top looks too big. The upper arm and across the bust are too tight. I can purchase a top at a department store and it fits but yours seem to run a little small.

I like this blouse because it has gathers at the top of the shirt so it gives a bit more room for women with large busts which makes it not gap along the buttons. It also dries unwrinkled. It also can be worn with the sleeves down when it is cold, or the sleeves rolled up when it is warmer.

This is my number one shirt to wear to work. Overall, I'm REALLY happy with the shirt. I very seldom have to iron the shirt after it has been washed and dried ... and that's a plus ... oh yeah! Since the shirt is made of appropriate material, I don't get hot during the summer season in this shirt. I hope to see more solid color choices, particularly some type of orange and a soft yellow. I would also like to see one extra button hole at the bottom from what the shirt currently has. What will I ever do if this product is discontinued? The sleeve legnth is almost 3 inches above my wrist when my arms are reaching in front of me. I am 5' 5" with a normal arm length. I always roll up my sleeves anyway. Those who need the true sizing on the arm length may have a problem with the shirt.
I would recommend, but I would tell the truth about the shirts sizing.

I wear these under shirts all the time. The only complaint I could have is they are about 1-2" too
long under my shirts, but I'm a short woman.
And the white shirt was a little too thin for my taste, but I still have a use for it

the shirt falls between sizes it is neither a good fit for a 20 or a 24 it should be sized a true size not as an XL or L incompassing two sizes, for a good fit it should be 14 16 18 20 etc.

I've been buying these shirts since the early 90's, and I'm still wearing some of them. In fact, a few look better than the new version. After a cold wash and drying at the lowest temp, all it takes is a good shake and off you go. In comparison, the new fabric is thinner, flimsy and a real wrinkle hound. Even after ironing/steaming, "phantom wrinkles" remain.
Still, this is the shirt I reach for most of the time -- on a nothing-special day at home or, when paired with the right accessories, casual errands. Just wish they hadn't switched fabrics on us...

Love my shirts -- have three in different colors. Wore my black one today to lunch and shopping with a pair of jeans -- love the shirt. It is so versitile. The tail is long enough that I feel I need to tuck it in OR I can tie it at the waist and have a dropped waist appearance. It could be left out and worn with tights but I'm too old and large at this point. The sleeves are comfortable buttoned at the wrist and also can be folded back onto the forearm -- looks good either way.

I love this shirt! I order them for my employees and I, which just so happen to be larger women. We have our company logo embroidered on them and they make such a nice representation. The only draw back I have is the striped colors seem to fade quicker than the solids, but we wear them every day!
