I liked this shirt so much I ordered it in 2 colors. It does need a bit of ironing when it comes out of the dryer, but not much. It is a flattering fit. If you're very short, like I am, you may want to shorten it a bit. If it were not for the bit of ironing it needed I'd have given it 5 stars!

I bought 2 of these shirts (white & brown stripe). The stripe shirt fit snuggly in the bust, but the white shirt fit fine all around. The white shirt is very thin and will need a cami under it, but the stripe shirt is of a good weight. Overall, I feel there are size and material irregularities between the solid and stripe shirts. Also, I will be shortening both shirts because I am only 5'1"(unless you want the shirt to your knees).

I want to see the lengths a little longer. With the very large size people don't like their bellies hanging below their shirts! (At least I don't. It looks tacky.) I would buy more if they were 32-34 inches long.

A little disappointed in the color of the black stripe shirt. Not as bright as I expected. The cuffs had a light streak where they were folded. That doesn't bother me because I roll the sleeves anyway. Still like both shirts.

I loved the shirts, their colors, their sizes were great, however, I'm picky about fabric. Cotton is my #1 choice, and these were poly cotton, felt more poly than cotton with that scratchy "sizing" feeling that I didn't think would wash out. If you like this fabric, the shirts are a great piece for a wardrobe.

I have purchased about 12 of these shirts since they showed up in your catalogs. The original ones I bought were with light background colors. They have been washed every week for a number of years and the colors have not faded one bit. I compared labels and realize the cotton/poly blend % is the same; the style hasn't changed; and the cost remained reasonable. However, the dye quality used with the latest offering is definitely inferior. The color isn't going to survive many launderings.

The colors will coordinate through the seasons by adding layers. It should wash well with a poly blend. I like wearing these shirts over a short sleeve mock turtleneck in fall, and long sleeve pullovers in winter. The look is fresh and clean with several options. Can also be worn under a sweater/jacket or a sweatshirt.

Light and airy, Fabric is not very thick making the Kate BigShirt a good choice for warm weather. Sleeves can be rolled up for a short sleeve effect.

The thin fabric, which from experience with this product does not hold up extremely well, is less of an issue for me because I live in a desert where the thin fabric makes the shirt cooler. However, to get any mileage out of this shirt you need to wash it on delicate in cold water and use low heat in the dryer or line dry.

Please do not use or change to a thinner fabric for this shirt. The shirt is very good the way it is made and gets softer after each washing. I would like to see this style of shirt in other colors and prints as well.

I have always been a "fluffy" lady and once I discovered Roaman's, I was hooked. I have NEVER ben disappointed in a purchase. Yes, the cotton shirts do have to be ironed, but they ALWAYS look crisp and neat.(I like to iron ) I recently lost a lot of weight, but have not moved from Roaman's.
My daughters are also big fans (no pun intended) Thank you Roaman's for allowing me to be stylish.

This shirt is well made, nice fabric, fits very well. If you have big arms, big butt, narrow sholders, this shirt is flattering and covers those flaws nicely. You look stylish- not frumpy. The price is good. This is a very good value. Be sure to wash in cold water only.

I bought the top for work but would not hessitate wearing it on a date with a nice pair of black slacks. The style, fabric, and color look great with jeans. I love the fact that I can make it more casual by rolling the ample sleeves.
The fabric was a little stiff but I feel sure because of the quality of the fabric, that a few washes with white vinegar added will soften it up and make it less likely to wrinkle.

Colors were much 'darker' than appeared on-line and they were much larger around than I expected. I like a blouses that are more tailored. This was borderline short mumu. I plan to take in the side seams about 1-2 inches after a couple of washings.

I always wash before wearing clothing but at this point, it's perfect except the sleeve length; too long. Wear this with a suit ( pants or skirt ) or with jeans and look great either way! Very versatile.. Will update later on washability durability, etc.. At this point, very satisfied. Also love the fact that the stripes are vertical and not horizontal, more flattering.

Stripe one faded alot the very first time it was washed. I loved the color and how it looked the first time I wore it but now(after one wash) is faded and looks like I have had it for several months.

Ordered the dark ocean blue,which has nice colors in it and can wear it through the spring.Shrank a tiny bit in washing,which was fine since I'm short and the top is long.
The shirtail hem is puckered in places and is longer in front than in the back. My stomach is larger than my hips,so this couldn't be the reason. I wore it once, with a blouse underneath,but am thinking about having the hem redone as it doesn't look good.

I love that I found shirts with vertical stripes. My main concern was how this shirt would fit compared to what I usually buy. I bought a large which was compared to an 18-20. It fit more like an 18 but the top of the sleeves seemed a little tight. It fit perfectly across the shoulders and elsewhere. I also love the fact that it isn't 100% cotton, which means it launders well. I bought 4 of them and intend on keeping them. I also bought 1 Kate Bigshirt and it was cut a little fuller.

I like this shirt. They come out of the dryer ready to wear. However, I wonder if they are going to fade easily. I noticed on the sleeve is a fade mark from the process of ironing before I received it. We will see.

I was disappointed in the product. It had great color just as in the magazine, but the fabric seemed stiff. The sleeves were also a little short, I have long arms and it hit me right at the border of too short and just right.

I love the vivid blues of the shirt(I chose ocean) but was quite shocked when I undressed at night and found that the blue had run and my white bra was blue. The color did come out in the wash and the shirt stayed a vivid blue so all's well that ends well

The cotton is very scratchy,which I thought might just be fabric sizing-but out of the wash it was just as scratchy. The length is good, but it doesn't drape well. It needs to be ironed, but the fabric holds it's color.

This is a pretty shirt. The great thing about it for me is that it is a loose fit through the hips because I am 1X on top and 2x on the bottom. It is light weight but the colors are really pretty. I am a little concerned about whether it will wrinkle but it is 40% polyester/60% cotton so I hope it will be okay.

This shirt is comfortable, however the color is slightly faded and the fabric is stiff. Even after washing and drying the fabric remains stiff. I have worn the shirt to work but will probably only wear with jeans because of the faded color.

The shirt washed well, but it still came out very stiff, just like it came out of the wrapper. Even done in cold water with the appropriate detergent, the color showed a bit of fading, didn't stay bright. I like the shirt, but the fabric could learn to loosen up a bit and get softer.
