Colors are very nice, better than they appeared in photo. However, the comforter is thin, which is not a problem if you're looking for a summer comforter. My biggest problem with this is how stiff the material is. It is not soft at all - very hard, stiff, and not heavy enough to pull out the creases/folds without ironing the entire thing. Fine in a guest bedroom, but I would not use this as an every-day comforter.

This comforter could be a little wider for my deep king mattress. However, it will do in the guest room. It is really thin open weave material and a little rough. I think after it is washed it will soften up but material will still be thin. In fall and winter in the northern part of the country you would need another blanket. It is pretty though.

Beautiful design complimented my green bedroom wall color and the pattern brightened up the room considerably. Fabric is lightweight, but I live in South Georgia so it's plenty warm for our mild weather here. I ordered the KING size because I have a double depth queen mattress and my bed is higher than normal, and it fit very well. I used a white dust ruffle underneath and used the dust ruffle that came with the comforter set above that, gives it a nice layered look. I'm happy!

This is a beautiful comforter, however I found that although I ordered a queen size, the comforter barely went over the sides of the queen bed, and it was short from headboard to footboard. Had to order a king to accommodate our queen bed.

Good buy for the money but the material is voile-like and very thin. I expected a percale-like fabric. The picture makes the comforter look a lot bulkier than it actually is and it wrinkles easily. I'm keeping it because I love the colors and design but don't look for it to keep you warm at night.

Very pretty material as I have the same purple in my wall color.Ordered the Queen but not big enough for pillow top mattress. Reordered the king and still not long enough for the pillowtop queen. Was able to use sidesways (not the best solution) without too much pattern problem. Had to keep the queen too for the shams and skirt. Will make pillows out of the spread and alter the king shams so have 4. Not a total waste but now cost over double.

All in all it's a beautiful set. However, I was not expecting the fabric to be sheer, or that the dust ruffle not be split to accomodate a footboard. So, I used a solid white cotton valance under the sheer one and a solid white dust ruffle under the sheer one to achieve the look I wanted. Also split the dust ruffle so it would fit around the footboard. Not a difficult fix with the aid of sissors and double sided press on tape. All in all, it turned out to be not such a good bargain. Still the total look is very pleasing. I would recommend this to a friend with reservations.

Living in Fl, I wish manufacturers of bedding products such as Brylan would make more light weight comforter sets. All that seems to be available is cotton-polyester, thick comforters. We don't need all that thickness!!

this print is great. The only thing I didnt like is the flimsy material for the pillow shams. BUT, since I dont sleep on the pillow shams I guess it really doesnt matter. This set is beautiful. I did wash it in COLD water after I received it which did fine. DONT put in the dryer though. The sides will ball up. I took it out before I really messed it up.
