This is just perfect for a low shelve, it holds as much as a larger pitcher, but does not take up the same space. The lid took some getting used to because you have to turn it to seal it, but it does make it spill proof if it should topple over. But it is wide enough that I doubt that will happen.

I fill them with water and keep them in the fridge door. Drinking 8-10 glasses a day, I always have fresh cold water and they are easy to clean & refill. The lid is a little enigmatic until you play with it and see how it's supposed to fit. Once that is solved, the bottle is properly sealed.

I wanted a glass container to store liquids in (such as leftover coffee) that also poured easily and had a tight lid. It is very hard to find. The container I had tipped over and chipped a while back and I searched for a long time to find another in a similar square design. Although expensive, this glass bottle is made very well and I feel will last a long time.

I bought one of each size, and I just love them. I bought the largest one for milk, because I just don't like plastic, and I've found the milk stays fresh longer, and it keeps it very cold, which I love. The lid took me a couple minutes to figure out. I thought you just put it on and that was it, but upon closer inspection realized you put it on, hold the outer ring, then twist the inner part clockwise for a very tight fit. It works perfectly! I just wish I had a larger refrigerator so I could get more. They fit perfectly in the door.

I bought this for my husband's coffee. He makes a batch then refrigerates it for iced coffee. The pitcher is sturdy, high quality glass. It does NOT fit into our refrigerator door, as I thought it would. The lid must be secured by a 'press down hard and twist manuever' which could be difficult if you're older or have bad arthritis. The rubber lid gasket is also now discolored from the coffee :0( Otherwise, an 'okay' pitcher.

This product is wonderful! I looked all over for a glass pitcher with a cover and only found thin cheap glass with tight openings so it would be difficult to clean for triple the price. This is made of heavy duty glass that you can stick in the frezzer or microwave except the lid. The lid I didn't think would be possible to be air tight but when I received it I was wrong. Totally air tight. Just place lid on and turn the center part only slightly to the right to create seal. I bought 3 68oz pitchers which are actually 69oz. I have one for my filtered water, one for lemonade and one for iced tea. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

I bought the 36 and 68 ounce bottles and love them both. At first glance, they look unusually small but don't be fooled! They definitely hold the listed capacity, keep things well chilled even after sitting out for a while, and have a nice sealing mechanism on the lids. I'm definitely going to be buying another 68 ounce bottle and one or two more 36 ouncers - they fit so well in my fridge door that I plan on using them for all my beverages now and saving lots of space.

I like everything about this bottle except for one thing. Sometimes after you pour from it you need to wipe a small drip from the lip. Other than that, it is terrific. I use it for milk when the jug becomes half full. Saves a lot of fridge space!

I have the whole set and bought another big one. The plastic top works, but I'm concerned about what I'll do when the lids don't work. I'm glad I have them, though...maybe the lids will last a long time!

Nice capped pitcher to leave water on counter. Holds half a gallon of water, so doesn't need to be filled often. Much more attractive than plastic gallon from grocery.

I really like this item. I have a glass front beverage cooler, and everything looks so much better in glass bottles. Also, the unpleasant odors and tastes that can be picked up from other items in the refrigerator do not penetrate. Looks very nice on the table, and extends useful life of anything inside.

These glass bottle pitchers are PERFECT for everyday use! I LOVE the way they look, and use them for 1/2 gallons of milk and juice which we purchase in bags from our local dairy store. They look GREAT and have a hermetic seal to protect the nutrients from degrading due to exposure to the air. I like them so much that I have switched from the "popular plastic" pitchers I was using ~ AND I AM A CONSULTANT! (shhhh) ;)

I bought this for my coffee. I have a stainless steel carafe but it's a pain to clean and I can't tell how well it's cleaned. With my handy see-through bottle, not a problem. No, it doesn't keep the coffee hot, but the carafe didn't either. I have no problem with nuking it, just as I did before with the carafe. I much prefer that than letting it sit on the coffeepot heatplate. I will be buying some more of these!!

We buy milk in gallon cartons. They are too heavy for me to handle so I have long looked for a convienent container to empty the carton into. The glass bottle is just right for half of the carton and easy to handle. The glass looks so smart. I love it.
