It tends to get cold at night in Colorado and this robe is perfect for those particular nights. I bought this for my mother who was looking for a lightweight, zip-front robe. My daughters and I tried it on when it came and we all loved it! My mother was thrilled to get it. It's very lightweight - not as thick as most traditional sweatshirts, which is what it looks like in the photo - but it's quite warm. It was a little long for Mom - I guess she's about 5'5" (she's getting older and may be shorter now!) and it came right to the floor - but she likes it enough to hem it up.
