Bought these for my son in 5x and 4x. Colors were great and vibrant but not over the top flashy. 5x was way too huge, 4x was better, but both went almost to his ankles and he is 5"11". He swims twice a week and needed two pairs of shorts but these are nice enough for any outdoor activity. Side pockets will be a hassle but I'm going to have them hemmed up to the knee.

after wearing these short one time i noticed a small tear in the seam in the croch area i sewed them up by hand and they seem to be ok. i am assuming that this was just a flaw in this pair.

Very nice shorts over all, roomy and covering. The best feature is they do not hold water in the pockets like other shorts.

Son is happy with these board shorts. However the picture for the Mocha color has bluish color flowers...Shorts were mocha/white flowers. Kinda disapointed. Shorts fit well in the waist due to a nice draw string. However, the shorts are WAY long..about 3 inches below his knees. Son is 6'3"!
The legs on the shorts are VERY wide, but not ugly so. By being longer, at least the shorts don't creep up like shorter styles tend to do.
Overall, a very good deal esp. at the sale price and 20% off coupon.

I love the idea of these board shorts, however they ripped the first day I put them on. I wear the size I bought, but I found that these were a little smaller not really true to size. I suggest buying a size bigger for more room.

I use these swim trunks for coverage. Can't find anything in womens sizes with this much coverage.

So these shorts look good except for the fact that they are way longer than they should be. I did buy the tall ones because I am 6' 6" which I believe should qualify as tall since everything else I own is tall. But they went well below the knee which seemed to long to me.

I am a woman and I bought these boardshorts because I wanted something that was more coverage on the beach for our cruise this year. I measured my inseam and found that the description of the shorts, claiming a 12 inch inseam, should have hit me a bit below the knee. I can assure you, the inseam is NOT 12 inches. They are much more like capri pants, stretching all the way to mid calf!

The waist is very stretchy and I could add another person in here with me if I wanted to. I love the fact that these have a functional drawstring, as most traditional boardshorts do not. This is the main reason I can keep these rather than exchange for a size smaller.

I also bought a brown swim top on the OneStop site, and the two go fairly well together, though the browns are off a bit. These shorts will work well for what was intended, as I feel very comfortable in them and I'm protecting my skin, which is what I was hoping to do. Remember, be careful when trusting the sizing charts as for this item the chart is too conservative in my opinion and the item runs larger!
