not real leather but the look is just what I wanted. I wanted high "riding boots" that I could tuck my jeans into and these work. They could be a little higher but still pretty high and I am glad I switched from a 7 1/2 to a 7 at the last minute! Also, I am not "Plus" size so I have small calves. If you have thicker calves the boots are not really that wide.

They are extremely cute boots, however they felt too narrow, not only where your foot goes, but up your leg as well. The zipper is very stiff also. If they had fit better I would have kept them.

the suede one is ok, just a bit too narrow in the toe section, i ordered a W width. i was hoping the black was a suede also but since i already have another suede in black, i decided to keep it. i hope the black patent look one will last just as long as the suede. i'm not too sure about that material, but we'll see

I loved the way they look. But I sqeezed my foot in and it was very tight and I ordered wide width and never a problem with other shoes in wide. Also, the zipper wouldn't come close to zipping up. I measured my calf and thought these would fit but the boot had an inch opening when I tried to sqeeze together. I have to return.

this boots looks very stylish but like i indicated , it could have been a bit wider in both the shaft and width. it took quite some time to get it zipped. i would recommend if the person wears regular width and shaft.

I probably should have gotten an 8 wide instead of 8-1/2 wide because there was a little bit of buckling around the ankle area which made it look like it was a little too big, but otherwise overall pleased with the boots

I am really disappointed that a website that caters to plus-sized women would advertise boots as being for extra-wide calves (and actually put in a false measurement for the circumference of the shaft). Thick girls have enough problems finding things that suit our curves- we shouldn't have to worry that a site like this might also be designed for skinny women!
