Very nice quality chair at a value price. Shipping was fast and secure. Assembly was quick and easy (only problem was one of the power cords had come unplugged during shipping, make sure it is plugged into power unit completely and correctly). Operation was smooth and quiet.

I have difficulty getting up and down with my knees. I have been looking for the right chair for months..thought I found one.
Unfortunately it is not advertised the way it really is....it is NOT 18 inches, as advertised from floor to seat..it is 14 inches!!!!!! This is a huge difference when you have knee problems!
I have always been very happy with my Brylane Home purchases. I put my trust in what was stated and was burnt.
The chair is attractive and comfortable when I am in it.....but the 4 inch difference from seat to floor is just too painful to make.

Comments about Brylanehome Extra Wide Power-Operated Lift Recliner:

I bought the chair for my father who can't use his right arm due to a stroke and has trouble getting up from chairs. The chair was delivered right on schedule, in good shape, and was easy to assemble. Fabric color and feel are both very nice. The first negative I noticed was that the size of the seat from front to back was shorter than other chairs. The front of the seat hits 4 - 5 inches behind the knee. The chair did make some noise when rising. The angle of the chair as it rises pitches the person forward a little too much. Also, when the footrest rises, it is shorter - his feet hang off the end of the footrest. All in all, I got what I paid for. I paid less than half the original price. I would not buy another chair sight unseen. My father says he is getting used to it and it serves the purpose , but I was disappointed and I'm glad I did not pay full price for it.

Comments about Brylanehome Extra Wide Power-Operated Lift Recliner:

This chair is suppose to support 400 lbs. I'm half that and one arm is falling off. It doesn't recline well and the chair cuts the circulation in my legs when I put my feet up. I had this problem a month after I bought it. I've had it for five months now and it's about to fall apart. I seldom use it and as soon as it's paid for it goes to the nearest dump

The fabric is good and it looks good. However when using the chair as a lift or to recline its hard to do and it is very uncomfortable. The strap on the back of the chair can be felt while reclining and it hurts. The lift is good however makes a lot of noise when doing so. I will not purchase one like this again.
